The Camden Hancock Foundation was created to honor the late Camden Hancock who lost his short battle with brain cancer on October 2, 2018. Camden was a senior at Reitz High School, while driving home from baseball practice on April 18, 2018 Camden had a seizure causing him to be in involved in an accident. Further tests revealed the malignant brain tumor which eventually took his life at the young age of 19. Shortly after his death, we created the Camden Hancock Foundation. This foundation has allowed us to keep Camden’s legacy alive by helping others and giving back to the community. Each year we host the Camden Hancock Benefit Golf Scramble at Cambridge Golf Course on Evansville’s north side. To date we’ve raised almost $90,000.00 which has allowed the foundation to help many families in the tri-state going through their own battles with cancer, and it’s also provided $3,000.00 scholarships in Camden’s name to deserving high school seniors for each of the last three years. For more information about our foundation, please email us at camdenstrong5@gmail.com or call 812-431-4429. The Camden Hancock Foundation is a 501(C)(3) organization.
