Due to circumstances out of our control, we have decided to move this year’s outing to Oak Meadow Country Club, and the new date is Monday, July 13th. No matter where we hosted it, the price was going to go up. Cambridge is under new ownership and they’re making changes throughout which will make it one of the top public courses in the state. With those changes, rates had to change as well. We wish Cambridge nothing but continued success and look forward to seeing where the new owners take this.
We also want to thank everyone that works or has worked at Cambridge over the last 7 years for your support. Darrel Conner, Shane Murphy, Bev, the Wright Family, the entire staff went out of their way for 7 years to make sure that our event was successful. We cannot thank you enough for all you’ve done for our foundation, and we are forever grateful for your hospitality and the friendships we have developed during those 7 years.
With that said, we are very excited about this year’s event. Oak Meadow Country Club is an incredible venue with a first-class golf course. The staff from top to bottom is fantastic, and the golf course is amazing. It’s quite challenging as there are tight fairways along with plenty of bunkers, lakes, and trees that stand between you and shooting a low score. But the course is beautiful, and the grounds crew is as good as any when it comes to manicuring a golf course. We will still have lunch provided between flights, along with the charity auction and great prizes both on and off the course. We hope to see everyone out there and thank everyone for your continued support.
